In the beginning stages of web design, a designer only needed to focus on two things - aesthetics and brand. There was really no 'science' behind the design. As long as it looked good, was creative and the client was happy the website was considered a success. However, with the technology of today, designers are also responsible for creating what is called a user-centered design. This includes measuring the interactivity visitors have with a website. The most important question(s) being is your website pleasant to use? Is it easy to navigate? I have several years experience and have worked with professionals and specialists in the field to create websites that are not only pleasant to look and but pleasant to use.
Below are some of the websites I have designed and collaborated with copywriters, programmers and other designers to get a website with measurable results! For live previews of websites I've designed, please see the web references on my home page.
