Website Design - Resort

When I first started to work on this project, the objective was clear but the solution was not. I was asked to design a website for two hotels that are on the same property. The goal was to ensure that a visitor was able to easily navigate through the website and find the information they needed for either hotel and then book a stay at the appropriate hotel to suit their needs. In the beginning, I researched the best way to do this from a funtionality and design standpoint. I then used the information to map out the user journey through sketches and a sitemap. After that I started the process of design through creating a wireframe for the homepage as well as subpages. In the end, I delivered a design that made sense to the developer and a website that is producing results forthe client.
